Fully Remote | 9 AM – 5 PM US Central Time
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for executing and managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Facebook/Meta platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on campaign implementation, optimization, reporting, and supporting content initiatives, while collaborating closely with internal teams and participating in client communication.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
PAID MEDIA CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT (PRIMARY FOCUS)
– Manage approximately 20 paid media client accounts
– Set up, configure, and optimize Google Ads and Facebook/Meta campaigns
– Create ad headlines and copy aligned with brand messaging and campaign goals
– Execute bid management and budget allocation across campaigns
– Monitor performance and implement data-driven optimizations
– Pull and analyze campaign reports from ad platforms
– Present performance insights and recommendations to account managers and clients
KEYWORD RESEARCH & STRATEGY
– Conduct keyword research for paid media targeting across Google Ads and Facebook
– Differentiate between paid media keyword strategies and SEO approaches
– Collaborate with account managers to implement strategic direction into campaign execution
– Identify high-performing keywords and audience segments
AD CREATION & ASSET MANAGEMENT
– Write compelling ad copy and headlines based on brand guidelines
– Use platform tools to incorporate creative assets into campaigns
– Leverage AI tools to support copywriting and creative development
– Provide feedback to designers on campaign asset requirements
PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS & BUDGET RECOMMENDATIONS
– Identify underperforming campaigns and recommend optimizations
– Suggest budget adjustments based on performance data
– Communicate campaign status, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders
– Support budget increase recommendations with data-backed justification
LIGHT CONTENT CREATION (SECONDARY FOCUS)
– Create and schedule blog posts aligned with paid media campaigns
– Ensure alignment between paid media messaging and organic content
– Repurpose ad messaging into long-form content
– Suggest blog topics based on performance insights and audience behavior
– Write content that supports overall campaign strategy
TEAM COLLABORATION
– Partner with account managers on campaign strategy and execution
– Collaborate with designers on creative assets and campaign needs
– Work with organic content teams to ensure consistent messaging
– Participate in client calls to present performance and insights
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
– 5–6 years of experience managing paid media campaigns on Google Ads and Facebook/Meta platforms
– Proven experience managing multiple client accounts in an agency or similar environment
– Demonstrated experience managing budgets of at least $2,000/month per account or $40,000/month in total ad spend
– Experience with lead generation campaigns and/or driving foot traffic to physical locations
Skills
– Strong expertise in campaign setup, audience targeting, and performance optimization across paid media platforms
– Excellent copywriting skills for ad headlines and campaign messaging
– Proficiency in keyword research and audience targeting strategies for paid media
– Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities to drive optimization decisions
– Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to present insights to clients and internal teams
– Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization
– Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities
– Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with account managers, designers, and content teams
– Adaptability to work across multiple client types and industries in a fast-paced environment
