They are investing in building a high-performing e-commerce function to improve conversion rates, streamline operations, and drive sustained revenue growth.

Fully remote | 9 AM – 5 PM EST
ROLE OVERVIEW
The E-commerce Manager will lead day-to-day online retail operations, including website management, merchandising, optimization, and overall digital customer experience. This is a hands-on role requiring strong expertise in Shopify, UX/UI optimization, and the ability to manage remote teams while driving performance and growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
E-commerce Operations & Website Management
– Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including site maintenance, product launches, and promotional campaigns
– Oversee product catalog management, content updates, and overall site functionality
Website Merchandising & Optimization
– Develop and execute website merchandising strategies to maximize conversion rates and revenue
– Leverage tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring for search optimization, personalization, and merchandising automation
UX/UI & Conversion Rate Optimization
– Optimize user experience (UX) and interface design (UI) through A/B testing, customer research, and data analysis
– Use tools like Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity to analyze user behavior and identify opportunities for improvement
Analytics & Performance Tracking
– Monitor site performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics
– Implement data-driven improvements to enhance user experience and drive revenue growth
Team & Project Management
– Manage and coordinate a remote team of content and website producers
– Oversee cross-functional projects while maintaining organized workflows and prioritization
Technical & SEO Collaboration
– Ensure the website follows SEO best practices and identify opportunities for improvement
– Collaborate with teams to implement enhancements and improve overall site performance
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
– 3+ years of experience in e-commerce management or similar roles
– Proven track record of driving online revenue growth and improving conversion rates
– Strong hands-on experience with Shopify
Skills
– Experience with merchandising tools such as Fast Simon, Bloomreach, or Searchspring
– Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and e-commerce best practices
– Proficiency in Google Analytics and data-driven decision-making
– Knowledge of HTML/CSS and SEO best practices
– Familiarity with tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or similar heatmapping tools
– Experience with Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms (nice to have)
– Highly organized with strong project management skills
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
– Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
– Customer-centric approach with a focus on improving user experience
