This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Our client is seeking a dedicated email marketing professional to lead Klaviyo-based automation, segmentation, and campaign performance efforts within a growing digital environment. This role supports broader marketing objectives by building data-driven email strategies that improve engagement, personalization, and conversion while ensuring strong deliverability and operational efficiency.

Fully Remote | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

ROLE OVERVIEW

The E-mail Marketer will manage email automation, segmentation, and campaign performance using Klaviyo, with a strong focus on building effective workflows, optimizing deliverability, and improving engagement and conversion outcomes. This role requires ownership of end-to-end email execution, from segmentation and reporting to template production and performance analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

EMAIL MARKETING & AUTOMATION

– Recreate email templates in Klaviyo based on design files and assets provided.

– Develop and manage Klaviyo workflows and automations, including welcome series, abandoned cart sequences, product recommendations, and re-engagement campaigns.

– Segment email audiences based on customer behavior and data insights to improve targeting and personalization.

– Manage and optimize email campaigns to align with business objectives and support conversion goals.

PERFORMANCE TRACKING & REPORTING

– Analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.

– Deliver executive-level reporting with clear recommendations based on performance insights.

– Monitor deliverability and optimize campaigns to improve inbox placement.

CRM & DATA MANAGEMENT

– Maintain customer lists within Klaviyo, ensuring data remains clean, current, and effectively segmented.

– Analyze customer behavior, trends, and segment performance to inform campaign decisions.

– Coordinate with internal teams to align email efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

COLLABORATION & STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT

– Work closely with marketing and product teams to build campaigns that support engagement and sales objectives.

– Contribute to content planning for email campaigns across audience segments.

– Recommend improvements to email strategy and customer engagement initiatives.

CREATIVE & TEMPLATE PRODUCTION

– Use provided copy and creative direction to produce high-quality email templates with minimal oversight.

– Build complete email templates end-to-end, including layout, formatting, and Klaviyo implementation.

– Collaborate with the internal designer when needed while maintaining the ability to execute independently.

– Ensure templates are mobile-responsive and render correctly across email clients.

SEGMENTATION & PERSONALIZATION

– Develop advanced behavior-based segmentation focused on improving conversions.

– Leverage existing clean data structures to strengthen targeting across purchase intent, browsing behavior, lifecycle stage, and engagement patterns.

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

– 2+ years of hands-on experience building email templates in Klaviyo.

– Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email development.

– Experience managing email campaigns from planning through execution.

– Familiarity with segmentation and A/B testing.

– Strong background in email analytics and reporting with the ability to act on performance data.

– Experience with responsive email design.

SKILLS

– Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, email client compatibility, conversion-focused campaign strategy, and best practices.

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

– Ability to independently manage campaigns from start to finish.

– Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

– Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

– Ability to create polished, brand-aligned, conversion-oriented email templates independently.

– Ability to work from design files (PSD, Figma, etc) and recreate them accurately.
