About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale EkLines AI-powered documentation platform. You’ll work directly with the founders to deliver new features across our web application, VS Code extension, and GitHub app. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in early-stage startup environments, takes ownership from day one, and delivers measurable impact for users.

Success in the First 3-6 Months

– Deliver multiple high-impact features that improve customer workflows.

– Ship reliable, maintainable code in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with full test coverage.

– Improve platform performance and scalability by at least 20%.

– Lead technical decisions for new integrations and API enhancements.

– Mentor junior engineers, raising team code quality and velocity.

Key Responsibilities

– Develop, maintain, and enhance our web application and platform integrations.

– Build and optimize RESTful APIs for cross-system integration.

– Collaborate with founders on product design, architecture, and roadmap.

– Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across all systems.

– Implement secure, scalable infrastructure using Google Cloud services.

– Conduct code reviews and support junior engineers growth.

Requirements

– 5+ years as a Full Stack Engineer.

– Advanced proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

– Strong API development and deployment experience.

– Skilled with SQL and NoSQL databases (BigQuery, Firestore preferred).

– Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

– Experience in early-stage startups or SaaS platforms.

– Strong ownership mindset, excellent communication skills, and commitment to continuous learning.

– Experience using AI tools to boost engineering productivity.

– English: C1 or C2 level for daily communication with U.S.-based team.

– Able to work at least 6 hours overlap with PST (9 AM – 3 PM).

Preferred Qualifications

– Next.js and Tailwind CSS experience.

– Python development experience.

– Familiarity with Google Cloud backend tools.

– Understanding of NLP, machine learning, and AI workflow integrations.

Compensation & Logistics

– Annual Salary: $60,000-$72,000 USD

– Early-stage equity and performance-based bonuses.

– Fully remote from anywhere in Latin America.

– Flexible hours with required PST overlap.
